First Thursday in the Pearl

Since 1986, Pearl District galleries have kept their doors open late on the first Thursday of the month for openings, receptions and a chance to meet the artists. The walk clusters in the blocks around NW 9th Avenue between Burnside and Glisan, and it's a low-key way to see what Portland artists are making this winter. The Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education on NW Davis waives admission for the evening. Winter walks are quieter, which means better conversations.
