Lend a hand to immigrant and refugee neighbors

Help at a free tax clinic, move furniture and supplies, or interpret and translate. Open roles are posted on IRCO’s volunteer portal.

IRCO has supported refugees and immigrants in Oregon since 1976, serving more than 29,000 clients a year in a community that speaks over 100 languages. Its programs run from early learning and youth services to senior services, hunger relief, housing support and legal aid, and volunteers work across its programs and events.

Roles named on its volunteer page include tax clinic helpers, furniture and supply movers, and interpreters and translators; groups and unpaid internships are options too. Create an account on the volunteer portal, apply for a specific role, and staff follow up about training and placement. IRCO isn’t able to support on-call volunteers.
