Conductor and orchestrator Charles Floyd brings the Northwest Community Gospel Chorus together with the Oregon Symphony for a holiday concert built on big voices and soaring harmonies. It's part of the symphony's Sounds Like Portland festival, featuring some of the region's top gospel singers, and it's the warmest, most joyful of the season's orchestral shows. Two performances: Saturday evening at 7:30 and a Sunday 4 p.m. show that fits neatly before dinner downtown.
