Juel Park Restoration Work Party

EarthCorps and the Green Redmond Partnership spend a Saturday morning planting trees and shrubs and spreading mulch at Juel Park, 38 acres in the Sammamish Valley. The valley's fertile bottomland was a hunting, fishing and gathering ground for Native communities for thousands of years before farming and logging, and the restoration work helps bring native forest back. No experience is needed, and youth and school groups are welcome if leaders contact EarthCorps ahead of time. Three hours outside makes a good counterweight to the Thanksgiving rush.

Plans change. Please confirm dates, times and prices with the organizer before you go.
