Clark County Food Bank handles more than 11.7 million pounds of food a year, moving it through over 50 partner agencies at more than 200 distribution sites. Weekday volunteers sort grocery donations from its Fresh Alliance program (training happens on your first shift), repack bulk food Tuesday through Thursday afternoons, staff the front desk, or ride along on the collection truck, no CDL required.
Repack spots are limited, so reserve one with a volunteer coordinator first. Drivers with their own cars deliver emergency food boxes to homes around the county, and Russian and Spanish speakers can help with interpretation and translation. Start with the interest form on the volunteer page.
