Tacoma Art Museum stays open until 8 p.m. on Thursdays, and admission is free from 5 o'clock on. That's three hours to see Northwest and Western art in the Haub Family Collection, the Kent Monkman and Grafton Tyler Brown pairing before it closes Jan. 3, and the new Internet Speed show from Nov. 21. The museum sits on Pacific Avenue across from Union Station and a short walk from the Link stop, so it's easy to fold into dinner downtown. Regular admission is $18 for adults the rest of the week.
