Oregon Food Bank gets food to people across the state through a network of partner agencies. Most volunteers start at its Portland or Beaverton sites, sorting and repacking food; others help with seasonal garden projects, unload food at partner pantries, or take on anti-hunger advocacy, some of it from home.
Shifts run almost every day. Everyone registers ahead: set up a volunteer profile, then reserve a shift online. Minimum ages vary and are listed on each shift, and volunteers under 18 need a signed youth release form.
