Thanksgiving morning in Washington Park: the Oregon Road Runners Club's 5K starts on SW Knights Boulevard between the zoo lot and the forestry center, winds toward the road down to the Rose Garden, and finishes at Elephant Plaza inside the Oregon Zoo. Waves go out at 7:30, and little ones get their own Tot Trot and Gobble Gallop at 8:30. Every entrant gets a beanie. There's no day-of registration, and non-member spots cap at 2,300, so sign up early.
