A new touring production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, with fresh sets and costumes, plays the Keller for one week in January. Alan Menken's Oscar-winning score and Tim Rice's lyrics carry the familiar story, and at two and a half hours with an intermission it's recommended for ages 6 and up. It's a bright spot in the post-holiday lull, and tickets make a tidy family gift to tuck under the tree. ASL, audio-described and open-captioned performances are scheduled.
