After a short holiday break, Proctor's market comes back twice a month for a pared-down winter season, three hours on alternate Saturday mornings. In the darkest weeks of the year, this is where Tacoma finds storage crops, eggs, meat and baked goods from local producers. In the window it runs Jan. 9 and Jan. 23, then continues every other Saturday through March. Grab a coffee in the Proctor District and make a slow morning of it.
