Nearly 300 tuba players fill Pioneer Courthouse Square with carols in a sound you feel in your chest. Musicians travel from all over Oregon and beyond for this 35th annual concert, and the crowd is invited to sing along. It's free, it runs an hour and a half on a Saturday afternoon, and it's one of downtown's sweetest December traditions, especially for kids who have never heard brass this big.
