The 22nd annual Puget Sound Bird Fest is a celebration of birds and nature designed to increase awareness of species in the Puget Sound region. Events include guided field trips, expert-led programs, and a special 3-hour birdwatching cruise departing from the Edmonds Marina to view seabirds at Smith Island or Protection Island. The cruise is offered by Puget Sound Express on June 7.

Dates: June 6–7, 2026

Cost: Most events free; birdwatching cruise $105 ($85 ages 2–10)
