DESCRIPTION:For the 11th Parade of Boats\, privately owned boats strung with lights fall in around the Christmas Ship as it leaves Lake Union Park\, and the whole flotilla cruises past Fremont while the Dickens Carolers sing from the deck. Evanston Plaza is the official free viewing spot\, close to the water at the north end of the Fremont Bridge. The choir performance runs from 8:20 to 9:10 p.m. Dress for a wet December night\, and plan dinner or a drink in Fremont before or after\, since the neighborhood's bars and restaurants are a short walk away.
