Winter is the season for squash\, roots\, apples and hardy greens\, and the market's chef demo series keeps going into December: the Husky Culinary Club on Nov. 7\, Anna of Yoka Miso on Dec. 5 and Caroline Wright on Dec. 19. SNAP shoppers get an unlimited dollar-for-dollar match at the manager's booth. Parking in the nearby U Heights lots is a suggested $3 donation\, but the train is easier.
