Grays Harbor Shorebird and Nature Festival

An annual celebration of the spectacular spring shorebird migration, when hundreds of thousands of birds stop at Grays Harbor on their way north. The festival features expert-led field trips, keynote speakers, exhibits, and guided walks at the National Wildlife Refuge. Shuttle buses run between Hoquiam Middle School and the Sandpiper Trail.

Dates: May 1–3, 2026

Cost: Festival registration fee; approximately $20 at the door for some events; field trips priced separately
